Learning Centers/ Special programs

Every school has a learning center staffed witha special education support teacher(s). Students may participate in small group or individual instruction in the learning center based on the goals and objectives identified in their Individual Educational Program (IEP). Services may be provided in the general education classroom or on a pull out basis, or in combinations of delivery as determined by the IEP. Students with special needs participate in the general education classroom to the maximum extent appropriate. Special education support teachers collaborate with general education teachers to provide modifications and accommodations as indicated by individual education programs.
