Ramona Quimby Age 8
Ramona Quimby is excited about starting her third grade year at a new elementary school and is convinced herself it will be full of excitement but it a little worried about fitting in. Unfortunately, Ramona finds herself in one predicament after another. First, she intends to crack a hard boiled egg on her forehead just like all the other students but is surprised to find out her mother accidentally put a raw egg in her lunch. Next, she has to cook dinner with her sister Beezus because the complained about the previous evening's dinner. Furthermore, she becomes humiliated after throwing up right in the middle of class. Despite all the misfortune Ramona experiences she comes out with a positive attitude and looks forward to another day.
