Ramona the Pest
Ramona is starting kindergarten. She has a first-year teacher named Miss Binney. Even on the first day they have a misunderstanding, but Ramona decides that she still loves her. Ramona has trouble sitting still during seatwork, finds Susan's curls irresistible, and plays chase in the morning before school. One morning she discovers that they have a substitute teacher instead of Miss Binney. Ramona decides to hide. One day everything seems to go wrong and Ramona becomes a "kindergarten dropout". In the end all is forgiven, Miss Binney still loves her and Ramona loves Mis Binney.
