Interested in Volunteering?
The University Place School District welcomes and encourages parents and community members to actively participate in student learning through volunteering in schools and the Athletic Department. The community-teacher-student-family relationship is an important part of ensuring success for all students, every day.
All prospective volunteers must complete a volunteer application using the University Place School District Volunteer Application system.
Background checks will be conducted on all adults working with students as part of the application process.
To apply as a volunteer, please complete the following step:
Go the University Place School District home page at www.upsd.wednet.edu and click “Volunteer” under Quick Links.
Register & complete the online application.
- Complete the items in the checklist, including the mandatory disclosure.
- Upload your driver’s license to the “My Checklist” section of the application
A Washington State Patrol background check is conducted on all volunteer applicants.
Once approved, all volunteers must reapply every two years.
If you need help scanning documents to upload or access to a computer, please call our Volunteer Coordinator at (253) 566-5600, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or stop by the District Office for help from 7:30am to 2:30pm.
Once you have completed your online application, use your Login ID and Password to update your volunteer application.
Thanks so much for your willingness to serve the students of University Place!
